Which cultivator should be bought to take into account all the agrotechnical requirements of soil cultivation

The quality of inter-row cultivation largely depends on the physical and mechanical properties of the soil, the speed of the unit, the state of the plants, the choice and placement of the cultivator's working organs, etc.

Trailed cultivators for continuous tillage KPS-8 from LLC APOSTOLOVAGROMASH are high-quality soil preparation for the future harvest. They loosen the soil between the rows of crops, break up the soil crust, destroy weed growth and create an insulating layer during the dry season.

AGROTECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS FOR TILLAGE WITH TRAILED

CULTIVATORS KPS

The soil between the rows must be cultivated to a depth corresponding to the agrotechnical requirements of the cultivated crop. Inter-row cultivation ( cultivator KRN 5, 6 / cultivator KNS 5.6 ) promotes the growth and development of plants during the entire growing season.

In the meantime, there is no need to know about it. ”

The soil surface in the processing zone should be flat, and the treated layer should be fine lumpy and loosened. The depth of the grooves in the row spacing is allowed no more than 3-5 cm (except for hilling potatoes, cutting irrigation furrows and other special techniques). Soil cultivation should be carried out without exposing the lower (wet) soil layers and without mixing them with the upper layer. The width of the protective zone should be minimal, but such that there is no damage to the roots and above-ground plant organs during treatments. During inter-row cultivation in the area of passage of the cultivator's working bodies, weeds must be completely cut. Solid and liquid fertilizers must be applied and embedded to a depth that meets agrotechnical requirements. When hilling, the soil must be rolled up against the plants.

In the meantime, there is no need to know about it. ”

QUALITY CONTROL OF INTER-ROW PROCESSING DURING CULTIVATION

The uniformity of processing in depth is determined simultaneously with its carrying out as follows.

Over the entire working width of the cultivator in the row spacing, the loosened soil and poured onto the protective strips are removed. A rail is placed on the soil surface perpendicular to the direction of movement of the unit and the distance from the bottom of the furrow to the bottom of the rail is determined with a ruler (at least at three points in each row spacing).

If there are metal rods with divisions, the depth of processing is determined without first removing the loosened soil. To do this, the rod is immersed in the soil to the bottom of the furrow so that it rests on the untreated part of the soil in the rows. For an accurate assessment of the uniformity of cultivation in depth, at least 25 - 30 measurements are made on an area equal to the area of the operator's shift task.

The KPS-8 cultivator loosens the soil to a depth of 12 cm, destroying weeds, while leveling and crushing large lumps of soil.

In field trials where accurate comparisons are required, the depth of cultivation is determined by profiling results. To do this, the soil surface profiles are taken before and after cultivation, as well as the profiles of the furrow bottom along and across the cultivation direction in accordance with the method used for plowing control.

The uniformity of processing in depth is judged by the deviation of the average cultivation depth from the specified one, which should not exceed ± 1 cm.For a comprehensive and more accurate assessment of the uniformity of processing in depth, a statistical indicator is used - the alignment coefficient (B) and the assessment is carried out on a 5-point scale ...

If the working bodies of the cultivator go at different depths during processing, the depth of cultivation is determined behind each working body. Then calculate the average depth of the working body and its deviation from a given value. The uniformity of processing in depth is judged by the coefficient, which is determined according to the depth of travel of one of the working bodies.

Cultivators KPS-8 perform several operations at once for cultivation, leveling and high-quality harrowing in one pass, thereby allowing to save fuel and lubricants, as well as depreciation and working time of the tractor.

DEPTH, SOIL CRUSHING AND DEGREE OF WEED CUTTING

It is determined in the zone of passage of the cultivator's working bodies in accordance with the methodology, as in the control of the quality of pre-sowing soil cultivation.

These indicators are assessed according to the corresponding 5-point scales. The degree of damage to cultivated plants by the cultivator largely depends on the phase of plant development, the quality of sowing, the skill of the machine operator, the speed of movement of the unit, etc. damage to the vegetative organs of plants.

To assess the degree of damage to plants after the passage of the unit, two rows are distinguished, in which, at a certain distance, the total number, the number of covered and mechanically damaged plants are counted. With a row spacing of 70, 60 and 45 cm, it is advisable to count plants in rows by 14.3, respectively; 16.7; 22.2 m, since in this case the number of plants on the indicated sections of the row will correspond to the density of plants per 1 hectare. Expressing the number of damaged plants as a percentage of their total number on the accounting row length, the damage to plants by the tractor and cultivator is determined. The degree of damage to plants is determined taking into account the phase of their development on a 5-point scale.

CULTIVATOR KPS-8

  1. prepares the soil for sowing

  2. cultivates

  3. levels the soil

  4. harrows the soil

  5. carries out pre-sowing packing

  6. seals the seed bed

For a more accurate assessment of the degree of damage to cultivated plants, calculations should be carried out in 10-15 places on an area equal to the area of the shift task of the machine operator.

The overall score (the sum of points) for the specified parameters can be reduced by 1-5 points for the presence of flaws, untreated row spacings, work with deviations (due to the fault of the operator) from the optimal agrotechnical terms, etc.

When deciding to buy any agricultural machinery, in particular a cultivator, one should clearly understand:

  • what tractor will it be aggregated with?

  • what kind of soil will be cultivated?

  • what kind of tillage is the cultivator intended for?

In the meantime, there is no need to know about it. ”

In this article, we told why it is so important to understand where to buy a high-quality and reliable trailed trailer in Ukraine, taking into account, at the same time, the properties of the soil:

  • for tractors from 180 HP

  • for pre-sowing soil cultivation to a depth of 12 cm

  • for weed control

  • for leveling and crushing large lumps

We hope that the information on how to buy a cultivator, taking into account all the agrotechnical requirements of soil cultivation, will be useful, useful and readable.
